antarctica
Here are some definitions about some things to do with Antarctica.
frostbite: Frostbite is a medical condition that is caused by extreme cold.If you where in antarica without gloves your hands with get frostbite because it is extremely cold there.
glacier: A glacier is made up from fallen snow that are probably centuries,or years old. it compresses into large ice masses.glaciers flow like a very slow rivers and some can be small as football fields.
ice cap: An ice cap is a land mass that covers less than 50,oookm land mass. masses of ice covering more than 50.000km is termed as an ice sheet.
krill: Krill is a shrimp like marine crustaceans. krill can be found all over the worlds oceans.the common name krill comes from a Norwegian meaning “fry of fish”.
Aurora Australis:aurora australis means the “dawn of the south”and it is a very large ship that travels to antarctica to take samples back to the scientists.
Emperor penguins: emperor penguins are a peiguin that live in antartica and are very fast swimmers they can swim faster than another bird in the world.they are the tallest and heavist penguin species endemic to antarica.killer
Killer Whales: killer whales it is also known as a orca and is less commanly to be commanly as the black fish. it is a toothed whale and it is belonging to the oceanic dolphin family. wild killer whales are not a threat to humans
Antartic tourisum: no i don’t agree with it because it should be left alone. antarctic tourisum it started with the sea tourisium in the 1960′s large boat would take heaps and heaps of tourists to have alook at antartica.
Seals: seals and sea lions are one of the few groups of marine animals that live in antarctica they eat.

In skills for life we are learning about teenager’s and anger.
what makes me angry…
1.friends being mean
2.rumours about me or my friends
3.names to hurt me or my friends
when i get angry i start to scream and shout and i just want things to go my way.
Me and two other friends was talking when the p.e teacher was and we got into trouble. it was funny!!

At school we have been making toondoos about skills for life and this is mine it is about a mother and father watching television and they see their son on television singing and he is a bad singer so the mother and father go to pick him up and the father was so angry at the son and left the mother behind at the bus stop here is mine…

In skills for life we are learning about conflicts “be constructive not destructive” then we have to pick one of the five problems what the teacher reads out.I chose this one…
Dear Ashley i told my friend one of my secrets and they shared it with somebody else which one of these should i do?
Ask them why.
Tell them it wasn’t true.
Tell my friend how i feel about it.
Or i don’t worry about it and ignore it.

In class we have to write about our class mates blogs and here are some
Alanna’s blog because it is coulerful and she writes posts about animals like horses.
Another blog would be Izzy’s blog because she also writes about animals and her blog avatar is really creative and she wrote a post about a town that is called chernobyl she wrote it because there was a television show about it.
The other blog would be shaynes blog because he has heaps of animals on the side of his blog and he wrote a post about nerf guns which is interesting.
ecological footprint
In humanities my class is learning all about the ecological footprint. We all had to play this ecological quiz game and you had to answer the questions about how you live like how much rubbish do you go through a week.And mine was 2.7 planets if everybody lived like me.
A few examples are:
Not turning power points of when you aren’t using power
Using plastic bags instead of green bags when going shopping
Littering
How much meat do you eat a week.
The movie Cars
At school in skills for life that is when we learn important skills in life like friendship we had to watch cars. Cars is a movie about a racing car that isn’t nice to his friends and doesn’t care. Then he was in the special truck who was taking to California for the piston cup. Then when he was a sleep he accidentally pressed a button and opened the back and he fell out. Then he found himself in the country. Then at the end he has heaps of friends that support him in his big race.Then he was going to win then all of a sudden he stopped for one car which had a crash and helped him go past the finish line. The other car won he got the trophy but nobody was cheering for him they was cheering for the other two cars it was a very good movie.popularity is when the cars only like him because he has or have done something impressive but with friendship they like him the way he is and is always there to cheer for him during the big race.
lightning mcqueen learned that winning isn’t everything he discovered that friendship is more valuable he only discovered this when he was stranded in the country.
he learned that being with his friends is way more funner because they support him. and that changed his mind when he got to meet them.
being a good friend is…

funny
and silly
I would discribe my bestfriend is that they are funny,smart and they sometimes be silly and i could trust all my secrets with them. My best friend is awesome!!!!!
